Bulldogs Xmas Party 2008
DATE: 6th of December
TIME: 3pm onwards (Bowls starts at 4pm)
PLACE: Waverley Bowls Club, (Bondi)
ENT’N: DJ ‘Fully Sick’ – Featured at Coupe’s Oz Day party, he was frigging awesome, just ask Meggsy.
COST: $20 p/person
Last night was the Phelan and Snow Medals Award Dinner and our club performed very well.
Mark Dixon won the Armstrong Medal (B&F in 2nd Division)
· Brad Abbott won the Stan Milton Trophy (Premier Division Leading Goal Kicker)
· Luke Wiliams won the U18 Challenger Cup Leading Goal Kicker award
· Max Collett came 4th in the Phelan Medal (B&F in Premier Division)
· Keiran Emery came 3rd in the Hart Medal (B&F in U18 Challenge Cup)
Our club also won the Club Champions Award for best on-field performance in 2008. We are very proud to have won this award as it highlights the improvements the club has made on and off the field over the years. The club would like to thank all the players for their on-field success, but especially we extend our thanks to all our supporters who have helped ensured 2008 was a great year and we look forward to continued successes in 2009.
UNSWES U18's Win GF
UNSW/ES capped off a great year when they were crowned undefeated Under 18 Challenge Cup Premiers after they comprehensively defeated Southern Sharks, 23.18.156 to 4.5.29 at Mahony Park today.
The Bulldogs had too much class for the gallant Sharks outfit with Captain Chris Jourdain leading the way with Best on Ground honours. Kieran Emery lead the goal kickers with six majors while Alex Henderson, Luke Williams, Andrew Goodieson and Andrew Haberley also had strong games.
